The general view of a person with a mental illness is someone who has to be left alone in a white room with padded walls restrained by a straitjacket. It is quite worrying to know that there is a stigma about mental health, and a cautious response amongst the public to those suffer from mental ill health, as these stereotypical views are not the case.
