In the UK today, over 2 million people are living their lives with a visual impairment, and every day 100 more will begin to loose their sight. I decided to live a day as a blind person would and experience the world from their perspective. Although it was only 24 hours and I could take the blindfold off whenever I wanted, it definitely taught me a lot, and I hope to never take sight for granted again.
I went with some of my family to the Tate Britain in London. It was a great place to go if you like art. It’s free, fun, and you get to see lots of famous paintings up close, as well as great sculptures, photography, and metal architecture.
