YU Online is an online magazine made by young people for young people. We aim to provide interesting and relevant articles to read and are always open to suggestions from you.
Have you written an article you want other young people to read? If you’re aged 13-19 we can publish your submissions on YU Online.
Do you live locally in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames?
If you are interested in becoming a regular contributor to the site, then you might be interested in joining the team, who meet up weekly to work on producing content for the site.
As well as written articles, we are also interested in showcasing media, photography and video projects made by young people.
For more information, or to contribute something to the site, email barnabas.shelbourne@rbk.kingston.gov.uk.
YU Online started as a printed magazine called Youth Unlimited. This was printed 2-3 times a year with articles written by young people for other young people and distributed in schools and youth centres locally within the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.
The magazine is no longer printed, but YU Online continues the legacy of providing information and entertainment through a new medium which allows us to provide more frequent updates, allow even more interactivity with our readers and reach a global audience.
