Never Judge the Hook by its Cover
By .

When it comes to libraries, the Hook Centre looks great both on the outside and inside. However, its downside is that you have to pay to use the internet. I visited three different Libraries around the area and have formed opinions about them. The libraries in question are Hook (chessington), Kingston Town and Epsom. I will discuss what I think about them as I have lots of different things say about each one.

Here is the table I have made up, rating each the libraries from 1-5

  Epsom Hook Kingston
Internet 5 1 3
Choice of books available 4 2 3
Staff 4 5 4
Multimedia available to use 3 4 5
Toilets 2 3 3
Transport to the Library 5 5 4

5 excellent
4 very good
3 good
2 bad
1 very bad

Epsom library is very good but when first visiting, it is a bit hard to find. Once you have found it however, it is worth it. The content is the biggest out of all the other libraries and the services are excellent.

Hook library is not top in my pile due to the fact that it is cramed into a small place like the Hook centre. However it does have a recording studio and media suite that are easily accessible from the library.

Kingston library is big which can be a bit daunting for some, but the facilities are so good and the transport there by the bus or train is easy.
